“The chicken is now even nicer, what did you change?”

I smiled when I read that message from a customer.

The change I made when rearing this batch of chickens was to give them filtered water. Yes it was extra work, but

a chick’s gut is very sensitive to disturbance. So I figured that filtering chlorine and dear knows what else  out of their drinking water would minimize the toxins they had to process and help them grow strong.

I think the meat from this batch is sweeter in taste. Get in touch if you want to try some of our new season chicken. £8.40/kg.
